At the newly built preschool Skogsgläntan in Stugun, approximately 65 children aged one to five years attend. We have five departments: Ekorren and Haren for the youngest children, Lodjuret and Björnen for the slightly older ones, and Älgen for the oldest. We are twelve employees working in teams, but we focus on the entire facility and collaborate on both pedagogical and practical matters to create the best possible operation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for 2 substitute preschool teachers for our preschool Skogsgläntan in Stugun, the positions are 100%, one position extends over the autumn semester of 2025 and the other position is for the entire school year of 2025/2026.

We are looking for someone who feels engaged and joyful in creating a developing environment for children aged 1-5 years. You gain energy from contributing to children's development and create conditions for a safe and positive learning environment in the preschool.

We want to best prepare children for the future. As a preschool teacher, you have overall responsibility for the pedagogical activities. You have the ability to challenge children at a level that is adapted to their interests, abilities, and conditions, using play, language, and joyful learning as a starting point. The assignment includes planning, leading, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical activities in collaboration with the work team where we develop together and utilize each other's competencies. You work based on the preschool curriculum, the education act, and municipal goals, and your work is characterized by a clear respect for the individual, as well as a good relationship with children, guardians, and colleagues. You work to create a safe, developing, and educational preschool. In our preschools, all children are everyone's children, and collaboration across departments is a given. Our preschools should be characterized by joy at work and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher degree or a teacher in the early years with a focus on preschool teaching or another educational qualification deemed equivalent.
