Anders Olofskolan is a 4-9 school with about 220 students and is located in Hammarstrand. The school is divided into three work teams: one team for grades 4-6 and two teams for grades 7-9.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a subject teacher specializing in English for grades 6-9 at Anders Olofskolan. As a subject teacher, you will be part of a team with teachers and support staff. You will actively participate in developing the school's educational activities. The work consists of planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching in collaboration with the team based on the goals of the organization. You will clearly work with our knowledge goals and requirements to motivate students and help them achieve good results in their development, both socially and academically. You will use varied working methods and base your teaching on each student's thinking and knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license relevant to the position. You are well acquainted with the governing documents and can translate these into understandable and meaningful learning for the students. You have high expectations for the students and their ability to develop, and you can capture and stimulate their curiosity, interest, and learning.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with children who need special support and have experience using digital tools for students' learning.

As a person, you are structured, well-planned, and enthusiastic in your teaching. You are collaborative and interested in contributing to the professional development of the organization. You have the ability to plan and organize both your own work and the students' work effectively, creating a trusting classroom climate where all students can participate.

We place great importance on personal suitability.
