About the Job

Strandlyckans Preschool is located in central Östersund, just a stone's throw from Lake Storsjö.

The preschool has a large yard with a lush outdoor environment. Despite our central location, we are close to beautiful natural surroundings, where we can easily take a short walk to places like Badhusparken and Birgers Adventure Park.

Strandlyckans Preschool consists of about 36 children in 2 departments with age-homogeneous groups.

Collegial learning is central for everyone at the preschool; we learn from and with each other to develop the operations. Your New Job

We are now looking for a qualified preschool teacher for Strandlyckans Preschool.

You will be part of a team where you will collectively plan and be responsible for the children's education and development. We assume that all children can and want to learn and that they should be in an environment where they can use and develop their skills. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.

You will create curiosity and a desire to learn during planned activities as well as spontaneous moments. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a creative and inspiring environment where children thrive and develop.

Common Tasks

• Plan and implement activities based on the curriculum.

• Develop educational content that inspires development and learning while stimulating and challenging children's interests, curiosity, and attention.

• Provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning.

• Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests so that all children can develop according to their abilities and conditions.

• As a preschool teacher, you will work with your colleagues to plan, teach, document, and evaluate the content of the operations.

Your Qualifications

Requirements

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher.

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to implement these in daily work.

• Previous experience in preschool is an advantage.

• Good computer skills.
