The Department of Children, Culture, and Education is looking for a primary school teacher for Hedenvindskolan in Strömsund

At Hedenvindskolan, there are about 280 students from grades F-6 with an integrated special school. The school has three after-school centers based on the child's age. As a teacher at Hedenvindskolan, you will be a class teacher and teach in small classes, where each class has a resource person working alongside you as a teacher. We at Hedenvindskolan actively work with our core values, which permeate the entire school's work, and all educators are out during breaks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for a class and conduct the majority of the teaching with the group. The work involves independently and collaboratively planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work. The work with core values is naturally integrated throughout the day.

As a teacher at our school, you are expected to actively collaborate to create a sense of community where staff, students, and guardians share a common responsibility for the school's environment, well-being, and development. Collaboration with parents and cooperation with other staff is an important part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher with qualifications for teaching in lower and middle school. You may have a degree that ranges from F-3, 4-6, or F-6.

You have experience working as a teacher. You are flexible and open to change and have the ability to lead a group of children. You recognize the different needs of students and consider their individual circumstances while maintaining a relational approach.

You should have basic computer skills to use the IT tools we employ in teaching. Training in Swedish as a second language is an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. As a new teacher at the school, you will be assigned a mentor during your initial period to provide security in your work at the school.
