Vallaskolan is a F-9 school in Frösön with about 630 students. The school is beautifully located in Frösön with a magnificent view of the mountain world. Our common goal is for all our students to leave Vallaskolan with good knowledge and a strong belief in themselves and their own abilities.

Job Responsibilities

Work as a mathematics teacher in our 7-9 team.

• Plan and conduct teaching in mathematics.
• Collaborate and develop teaching in subjects together with your subject colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team regarding students and teaching.
• Mentorship is included in the position.
• Participate in our systematic quality work regarding analysis of knowledge, safety, and well-being.

Requirements

• Certified teacher in the subject of mathematics.
• Good IT skills and experience working with digital tools in teaching are advantageous.

Experience

• Experience working as a teacher is advantageous but not a requirement.
• Previous experience working in schools.

Knowledge

• Swedish language
• Knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work.

We see that you have a good habit of working towards set goals and follow up on results regarding your teaching and adjust it so that students achieve their knowledge goals. You have a good insight into students' different conditions and adapt your teaching according to the group's and individual's needs. You have clarity in your relationships with students, you are a safe and stable adult. You have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and drive the development of teaching together with them. You have a good structure and can set clear plans for your teaching.
