Kronans Preschool is located in Ängsmon Torvalla, Östersund municipality. Here, dedicated and proud educators see their mission as an important part of children's development. The preschool has a strong culture of collaboration where all educators are involved and engaged. The goal is to create a preschool that is fun, safe, and educational for all children.

Our prioritized areas are language-developing approaches and methods, as well as leadership at all levels. We have recently started working with an educational annual wheel, which gives us a structured way to plan and develop our education and teaching.

The forest in our local area is a natural part of our operations, and we visit it regularly to create experiences, play, and interaction. Adjacent to the preschool's yard, we also have access to a soccer field, ice rink, and fine ski trails.

We also have a close collegial exchange with Skogsgården Preschool, which gives us the opportunity to learn from each other and develop our pedagogical work together.

We are looking for you!

We are now seeking a qualified preschool teacher for Kronans Preschool, starting in the autumn of 2025.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will be part of a team where you collectively plan and are responsible for the children's education and development. In your work, you are present and prioritize the meeting with each child. You understand the importance of creating good relationships between children-children, children-adults, and adults-adults. You lead children, colleagues, and yourself towards set goals in a curious and engaged manner. You are curious about how children learn and give learning the time it needs. You also have a good understanding of people's differences and meet these in a responsive and professional manner, both in teaching and in the everyday life of the preschool.

Common tasks

• Work to ensure that each child feels safety, belonging, and participation.
• Plan and implement goal-oriented processes that inspire development and learning while stimulating and challenging children's interests and curiosity.
• Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests so that all children can develop according to their abilities and conditions.

Your competence

Requirements

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• You have good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents and can implement these in daily work.
• Previous experience in preschool is an advantage.
• You are computer literate, and it is advantageous if you have worked with digital systems, e.g., Unikum, Tempus, Teams.
