Hofors Your Health Center

Your health center provides standard primary care with doctors, child health center (BVC), district nurse and nursing reception, nursing assistant reception, sampling, psychosocial team, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The premises also include a maternity care center. We have about 40 employees in our unit and we hold regular professional group meetings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you play an important role in the administrative work surrounding our patients. Your tasks will include care documentation as well as staffing our reception with the reception and arrival registration of patients. In the reception, you are our face to the outside world and the first to meet our patients, whom you engage with, professionally and with a good attitude, taking care of and helping them further.

As a medical secretary with us, you will work with:

• care documentation in the journal system Cosmic
• registration in the care system
• referral handling and some mail handling
• staffing the health center's reception.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in the role of medical secretary, you need to be communicative and attentive. We are looking for someone who is engaged, meticulous, and enjoys working in a team.

In the role of medical secretary, you should have:

• a completed LIA 1 placement from your ongoing training to become a medical secretary or you are already a qualified medical secretary
• good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

We ask that you indicate which weeks you are available for work in your application. Also, please state where you had your LIA and who your supervisor was.
