We are currently looking for a music teacher for grades 1-6 who is passionate about inspiring and developing our students.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to a positive and creative learning environment where music is a central part of the school's teaching. Instruction takes place in a newly built music room.

The position is a permanent employment of approximately 75% with the possibility of extending to full-time if you are qualified to teach art for grades 4-6 or modern languages. We look forward to welcoming you to our team at the start of the autumn term 2025.

Responsibilities

As a music teacher at Renshammarskolan, you will:

Teach music to students in grades 1-6 and create a creative and stimulating learning environment.
If needed, and if you are qualified, also teach art for grades 4-6 or modern languages to broaden your role and strengthen the school's educational work.
Plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching according to applicable governing documents to promote students' development.
Work closely with colleagues to promote a good working environment and create a safe and inspiring atmosphere for both students and staff.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will contribute to the overall development of the school through collaboration with other staff and actively participate in the planning and implementation of the school's educational activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach music for grades 1-6. You have a good ability to:

Engage and inspire students and create a positive and creative learning climate.
Build and maintain good relationships with students and parents.
Adapt teaching based on students' different needs and conditions.
Work interdisciplinary with other teachers to strengthen students' development.
Collaborate with the school's special education group when applicable.

You also have a good ability to document and follow up on students' development. It is an advantage if you have additional qualifications in subjects such as art or modern languages, which would allow you to extend your working hours to full-time.
