The vision of Vallbacksskolan is to have secure students with high goal fulfillment, and we actively work to achieve this. Approximately 550 students attend grades 7-9 and adapted primary school grades 6-9. We also have an autism spectrum group. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you an educator driven by sharing your knowledge and seeing students grow and develop? Then this could be a position for you! We are now looking for an engaged teacher for Vallbacksskolan who is passionate about the profession. Come and help shape Gävle's future with us!

As a teacher, you will work with instruction, have student responsibility, and be responsible for mapping, planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. The work is carried out according to decided goals and guidelines. The responsibilities also include mentorship and working with your colleagues to create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support students so that they achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching according to all students' needs and conditions. The work is carried out in collaboration with other educators, student health, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

In accordance with Gävle municipality's values, you have a good approach, a strong ability to collaborate, and care about high quality in your work.

You as the final candidate must be able to present a criminal record from the police for work within the school or preschool. This should not be attached to your application.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for a teacher with a teaching degree and teaching license. You should have experience working with students with NPF diagnoses, outwardly aggressive students, and students with significant school absenteeism. Also, experience working with students in a smaller study context. Furthermore, you should be able to independently plan and implement teaching in the school and maintain close contact with guardians. Experience collaborating with other actors is required. You are familiar with and knowledgeable about the primary school curriculum. Additionally, you have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as this is required in dialogue with colleagues, guardians, and students. You have good knowledge of and experience working with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office.

To succeed as a teacher at Vallbacksskolan, you have the ability to lead and motivate students, making them feel comfortable and well at school. You are good at creating an open dialogue and adapting your language according to the situation, as well as having a strong ability to make students feel a sense of belonging and inclusion. It is important that you are structured and plan your work well.

As a person, you take your own initiatives, are courageous, and have the ability to separate issues from personal matters. Furthermore, you have an unpretentious approach in your collaboration with colleagues, guardians, and external actors. You also adapt to different situations and have the ability to change your perspective and approach. You see opportunities in changes.
