Licensed Teacher for the Hotel, Restaurant, and Bakery Program

Hälsinglands Utbildningsförbund is a municipal federation formed by the municipalities of Bollnäs and Söderhamn with the mission to meet students' demand for education with breadth and quality.

The federation's work is characterized by being a driver of growth, a broker of education, and a meeting place for development. We offer upper secondary and adult education for the municipalities' residents, as well as opportunities for higher vocational education and distance studies at colleges and universities. We also provide commissioned training for companies and organizations, as well as opportunities for research and development.

At Höghammargymnasiet in Bollnäs, we offer four national programs and one individual program. We operate integrated within the same building as the youth high school and adult education, but some programs are conducted in separate facilities in Bollnäs. It is important for us in recruitment that there is a genuine interest in working with students in our target group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a licensed teacher for the Hotel, Restaurant, and Bakery program within the adapted upper secondary school of Hälsinglands Utbildningsförbund.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license as a vocational teacher with a focus on restaurant/cooking. It is an advantage if you have experience in teaching within the adapted upper secondary school. You should be well acquainted with the curriculum and subject area plans, and you should have a good ability to create safe and positive relationships with students. It should be important for you to create a good learning environment where you start from the student's specific conditions and needs, and you can seek individual solutions that focus on the student's entire learning situation. You are secure as a person, can work independently and together with others. You take responsibility for your entire teaching assignment. You have commitment and the desire to actively contribute to the collegial processes of the organization.
