RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher for grades 7-9, you will work with instruction, have class responsibility, and be responsible for mapping, planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. The work is carried out according to established goals and guidelines. Your responsibilities also include mentorship and, together with your colleagues, designing a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support students to achieve good academic results and adapt your teaching based on all students' needs and conditions. The work is carried out in collaboration with other educators, student health, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

As a final candidate, you must be able to present a criminal record check from the police for work in schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching license qualified to teach in grades 7-9 and the subject of Swedish/Swedish as a second language for this temporary position. You are familiar with and knowledgeable about the primary school curriculum. To teach in grades 7-9, we believe it is important that you can express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and adapt your language to the current situation. You have knowledge of and experience with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office.

To succeed as a teacher at Vallbackskolan, you need the ability to lead and motivate students, ensuring they feel comfortable and thrive at school. You are good at creating an open dialogue and adapting your language to the situation, as well as having a strong ability to make students feel a sense of belonging and inclusion. It is important that you are structured and plan your work well.

As a person, you have a humble approach in your collaboration with colleagues, guardians, and actors outside the school. You adapt to different situations and have the ability to change your perspective and approach. You see opportunities in changes.
