Botkyrka Municipality is the sixth largest municipality in Stockholm County and consists of the districts Alby, Fittja, Hallunda, Norsborg, Tullinge, Tumba, Vårsta, and Grödinge. Botkyrka Municipality has approximately 95,000 inhabitants and over 6,400 employees.

The Municipal Executive Office is responsible for governance, leadership, and coordination in the municipality. We contribute to making visions and political decisions a reality. We are about 275 employees with specialized knowledge in areas such as finance, procurement, HR, communication, development and management, digitalization, law, place development, and safety and security issues.

The Position and Responsibilities

The Procurement Unit at the Municipal Executive Office is responsible for conducting all procurements for the municipality's administrations.

Our operations are conducted with a clear customer focus. As support in the procurement process, we use the procurement system Kommers and have implemented electronic trading throughout the municipality. Our task is to develop and strategically manage the total procurement volume, which amounts to approximately 2.6 billion annually for the municipality.

The Procurement Unit currently has 25 employees who together drive and develop the procurement and purchasing operations with the goal of being a leader in public procurement. We work with category management, which means we delve into each category to work more proactively with our internal clients and the municipality's suppliers.

We are now looking for a contract procurement officer for the Procurement Unit. The role involves work within one or more of the categories in the contract group: land and construction, water and sewage, technical consultants, and property. The categories you will work with will be determined based on the needs of the operations and the competencies you possess. You will be part of the contract group with a total of five procurement officers and report to the municipality's procurement manager.

Your responsibilities will mainly consist of:

• Independently leading and conducting procurements within the contract area in collaboration with the relevant operations.
• Being responsible for managing and following up signed agreements within your area of responsibility.
• Developing the municipality's work on procurement and follow-up in collaboration with colleagues and the municipality's purchasing and contract controller.
• Providing advice and support in procurement and call-off issues.

Who You Are

You who apply to us have a university degree in economics, law, engineering, or other post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant.

• A couple of years of experience in independently conducting contract procurements.
• Good knowledge of the general terms of the construction and civil engineering industry AB04, ABT06, ABK09, and the AMA system.
• Good knowledge of the regulations for public procurement.
• Communicates well in spoken and written Swedish.

Meritorious:

• Experience in project work.
• Knowledge of ABFF 15.
• Experience in category management either in public or private operations previously.
• Experience working in a politically governed organization.
