We are looking for a procurement consultant for an assignment in Stockholm.

This is a full-time consulting assignment that will last until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires great flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

The consultant will support the procurement organization in its transformation towards a more strategic and efficient function. The consultant will contribute with analysis, category work, and procurements, while also driving certain transformation activities forward with a data-driven and business-oriented approach. The role includes:

• Analysis of procurement categories – identifying savings potentials and strategic improvement areas.
• Support in procurements – conducting or assisting in procurements in line with the organization's needs.
• Change management – contributing to the implementation of new processes and working methods within procurement.

The consultant is expected to deliver:

• Spend analysis and category overviews – compilation of current status and improvement opportunities.
• Strategic recommendations – based on procurement data and business needs.
• Support in procurements – procurement documents, supplier evaluations, price negotiations.
• Transformation support – concrete actions to improve procurement processes and implement new working methods.

Requirements (Mandatory)

At least 5 years of experience in procurement, both strategic and operational work. Experience in category work and spend analysis, including identifying savings opportunities. Ability to manage the entire Source-to-Contract (S2C) process, including market analysis, procurement, and supplier evaluation. Experience in transformation projects – accustomed to supporting change management and implementing new processes. Strong analytical skills – able to work with data-driven analysis and visualization of procurement insights. Proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written) is required, as the majority of contracts are written in Swedish and many of the client's suppliers have difficulties negotiating in Swedish.

Meritorious

Experience working in procurement digitalization projects (e.g., implementation of P2P/S2P systems). Previous experience from the insurance industry or similar sectors. Experience in change management within procurement and supply chain.
