At Hölöskolan, we are looking for a teacher for the early years of primary school. Our intention is that our cycle is FSKL up to and including grade 3. In order to create safety and study peace for our youngest students, we focus on class teacher roles in the lower grades, i.e., not subject teacher roles. This school year, however, we are looking for a teacher who will work broadly with mathematics and Swedish in selected classes. This is to increase the opportunity to provide our students with early interventions but also to increase our qualifications in the lower grades. However, you need to be aware that the position may transition during the term to a class teacher role and it will certainly become such at the start of the school year 2026. You will belong to a work team where you will collaborate with other teachers in grades FSKL - grade 3. The work team has a close collaboration with special educators and a counselor to help our students. At Hölöskolan, study peace and safety are prioritized areas of development, and we warmly value Hölöskolan's lesson structure. Other prioritized areas are good attendance and language development work. A structured collegial effort to enhance teaching is successfully driven by our lead teachers.

Your responsibilities

You will conduct teaching based on Lgr 22. Together with teachers, special educators, or colleagues in the work team, you will do rough and detailed planning for your teaching. Through your secure and clear leadership, you will conduct teaching that you adapt based on your students. Your teaching will be followed up through formative feedback, and you will plan your teaching based on the needs of the class. You will assess students' knowledge based on the criteria in Lgr 22 and maintain an open dialogue with management and student health regarding students in need of extra support. You will also have a close and good contact with guardians. Collaboration with the work team and subject groups is part of your assignment. Contributing curiously, positively, and engagingly to increased learning in general for our students through active participation in meetings, conferences, and gatherings of various kinds is also part of your role.

Requirements:
- You are licensed to teach in the lower grades in FSKL - grade 3.
- You have reading and writing learning in your qualifications as well as knowledge and experience in it.
- You are confident in working with mathematics learning and focus on quality rather than quantity.

Meritorious:
- You have experience teaching including in reading and writing.
- You have experience leading groups of various kinds.
- Knowledge in psychology and/or NPF.

At Hölöskolan, we conduct systematic quality work focusing on accessible learning environments, attendance, and operationally close student health. To develop teaching, and thus learning, at the school, our lead teachers conduct collegial work in the area. Time is therefore allocated for both reading current research as well as reflection and analysis of one's own teaching, as we believe this is of great importance.
Hölöskolan is a municipal school beautifully located with nature around it in a very quiet and rural area in Södertälje municipality. We are a two-parallel F - 9 school, and about 55 people work with our 420 students. There is a municipal library in the school that has just been renovated and is fantastic. The library is open to students in the mornings and the public in the afternoons. We also have a library educator who this school year has created fantastic podcasts with our students. Adjacent to the school are sports facilities, football fields, outdoor gyms, and exercise tracks. We have a kitchen that prepares good and nutritious food every day. About 80% of the food is locally grown or organic.
