Just a stone's throw from Östersund lies Brunflo and Miklagårds Preschool. The preschool has space for 72 children distributed across four departments with mixed-age groups. We offer a beautiful natural environment, with fantastic outdoor areas that stimulate children's motor skills and movement.

The preschools are constantly evolving, providing fantastic opportunities to put our stamp on the operations.

Job Responsibilities

The teaching in the preschool should be conducted under the leadership of preschool teachers and aim at children's development and learning through acquiring and developing knowledge and values. Preschool teachers should lead the goal-oriented processes and be responsible for:

• Care, development, and learning form a whole.
• Planning and implementation are based on the curriculum and on the knowledge and experiences that the children have previously acquired.
• Spontaneously occurring activities and interests, everyday activities, and routines in the preschool become part of the teaching.
• Develop pedagogical content and environments that inspire development and learning, challenge and stimulate children's interest and curiosity, and maintain their attention.

Qualifications

We see that you are a qualified preschool teacher with the required education.

We are looking for you

You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

You are a creative, active, present, and co-researching educator who has the will, desire, and ability to listen to, inspire, and challenge the children. You also have the ability and courage to take responsibility and see opportunities. You have good collaborative skills and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues in working with the children.
