Your mission

In the role of teacher for after-school care in sports and health, you will collaborate with teachers, after-school colleagues, and other staff to create a cohesive and developing school day. During the school day and after-school activities, you will plan, implement, and evaluate activities based on applicable governing documents together with the after-school team under your leadership. You will teach classes in your own grade in sports. In addition to teaching and coordinating activities, you have a social responsibility for the students in after-school care. You primarily work in a grade in lower primary school, but your mission with overall responsibility encompasses the entire after-school operation.

Furthermore, in the mission with overall responsibility, you support colleagues in teaching through collegial conversations and observations and, if necessary, at the individual level. You balance the pedagogical development of the work team and practical routines and strive for a well-functioning, effective, and cohesive group. You have decision-making authority within the After-School Development Group (FRU) and are responsible for distributing tasks according to guidelines from school management. Your responsibilities also include planning and leading after-school and FRU meetings, where you together review and plan both short- and long-term activities and development initiatives.

Your experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• Certification as a teacher for after-school care with subject competence in sports and health
• Good insight into LGR22
• Experience teaching in lower primary school
• Knowledge of and experience with inclusive working methods and meeting students in need of extra adjustments and special support.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in pedagogical development work and/or as a team leader.
