Dibber Sweden is part of the Norwegian free school group Dibber, founded and owned by two dedicated educators, Randi and Hans Jacob Sundby. Dibber was established in Sweden in 2017 and currently operates several preschools and primary schools. Dibber Sweden's head office is located in Sollentuna.

Located in Sollentuna, just a stone's throw from the beautiful Norrviken Lake and Stockholm's commuter train. We are a K-9 school with a focus on Lgr22 and the IB educational program, offering an international profile where our students can grow as individuals and global citizens. We are a school that lays the foundation for lifelong learning, placing great importance on both academic and aesthetic subjects, where modern technology is a given.

The goal is to create individuals with knowledge and values who, with their unique character, participate in society. As a teaching assistant, you actively support the student throughout the day. You become an important piece of the puzzle in contributing to the school's work to become a quality organization focusing on learning and development for our students.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the school operates in accordance with the curriculum and quality standards, school goals, and working methods.
• Have a good ability to create positive relationships with students and allow them to participate so they develop skills, self-confidence, and joy of life.
• You are part of the team that contributes to ensuring that students receive instruction that leads to new abilities and understanding of norms and values.
• You are the students' closest support in all everyday situations.
• You stay updated by participating in the courses and training offered. Swimming may be part of the instruction, so you must not be allergic.

Work Experience

Preferred - Teaching Assistant – More than 1 year of experience

Education

Preferred - Upper secondary education in social work and care

Skills

Preferred - Educated childcare worker or similar, alternatively other relevant experience for the position. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Personal Qualities

You are a relationship-oriented person who sees each individual student and actively works to engage them in their learning. You are committed and interested in development—both of the students, the organization, and yourself. To be successful in the role, you must be able to communicate with people from different backgrounds and in various life situations. You can work independently and take responsibility.
