Within the health and care administration, we work according to a salutogenic approach to utilize and strengthen the resources that individuals have. JOB DESCRIPTION
Daily activities are an initiative for adults with special needs who are entitled to assistance according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).
As a support assistant with us, you will support the customer in their daily living. We customize tasks to meet the customer’s interests and support needs. We support and motivate the customer in activities and tasks. A large part of the work involves creating and maintaining a good and close relationship with the customer and working to ensure they have meaningful engagement based on the services available. You will work with your colleagues with a respectful and individualized approach in all situations. You have significant responsibility and good opportunities to influence your workplace.
We are now looking for a new employee for our Media Group.
The daily work primarily consists of meeting our customers based on their daily condition, providing support through conversations, and adapting work according to needs. The work requires staff to be able to read situations and have the ability to act and adapt to different situations and individuals.
The tasks are primarily media-focused, which means that staff need more than basic knowledge to support our customers in their work. This mainly involves Google skills, i.e., knowledge of how and where to find solutions to a problem, as well as familiarity with the various programs we use daily, such as the Creative Cloud package and InPrint.
A large part of the work involves establishing and maintaining group dynamics within the team. Your tasks also include documenting in the documentation system Lifecare, creating and working from implementation plans, and collaborating with other actors in the customer’s network.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a support assistant, you should have a relevant high school education, for example, from the Child and Leisure Program or the Care Program.
You should have prior experience working with the target group.
Driver's license B.
You also need to be computer literate and have a good ability to express yourself in writing. Documentation is a significant part of the work.
You also need to have good mental and psychological health as your work involves supporting individuals who may be in vulnerable positions.
As a person, you are secure, stable, have self-awareness, and can distinguish between the personal and the professional. It is also important to us that you demonstrate empathy, enjoy collaborating, and communicate clearly.
It is also advantageous if you have knowledge and experience of various types of mental diagnoses and health conditions and how to best meet them.
You should also be an initiator as the position involves developing work methods within the organization.
