Uppsala Music Classes is a primary school with a music profile that offers teaching focused on singing or orchestral playing. The teaching follows the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for primary schools, Lgr22, but with a modified timetable, allowing more time for music. In addition to music, the school is characterized by high study motivation, good results, and a strong sense of security. Today, the school consists of two singing classes in grades 3-9 and one orchestra class in grades 6-9.

The school is a free school operated without profit interest by the Uppsala Music Classes Foundation, which is the school's principal. Since autumn 2010, Uppsala Music Classes has been located in the historic Seminariet in Luthagen in central Uppsala.

We are now looking for someone to substitute starting this autumn during our curator's parental leave for the school year 25/26. You also take responsibility for creating good and sustainable relationships with both students and colleagues as well as guardians.

Your experience in preventive and health-promoting work focusing on children and youth at the organizational, group, and individual levels is valuable and meritorious, as is experience with Pro-Renata, our digital journal program.

As a curator, you work preventively and health-promoting with conversations and participation in the student health team. Collaboration with guardians, social services, and other healthcare units is also included.

Your tasks include, alongside curative conversations with students and parents, health-promoting and safety-creating value-based work in the school.

You have close cooperation with the principal and others in the student health team and will work with them to drive and develop student health efforts.

You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing as well as to document.

You possess good empathetic skills and the ability to create trusting relationships with children and youth. You are communicative, pedagogical, and can express yourself well in speech and writing. You are responsible and can work both with a high degree of independence as well as in close collaboration with others.

We are looking for a curator who has high availability for everyone but with a good ability to set boundaries and work in a structured and qualitative manner. We place great importance on personal suitability. The percentage of service is according to agreement.

Start date is 2025-08-11.
