Congregational Educator for Tunabergskyrkan

The Church of Sweden in Uppsala consists of six urban parishes working together and is also responsible for Uppsala cemeteries.

Five of the parishes formed Uppsala parish in 2014 with a shared board and leadership. Together we want to be the local church for 180,000 residents of Uppsala.

Together with employees and volunteers, you will work in the youngest and oldest church of Uppsala parish, in a congregation characterized by unity and diversity.

The position involves being responsible for the open preschool in Tunabergskyrkan. Together with colleagues, you will work with children's choirs, children's groups, and the congregation's worship life. You will develop relationships with schools and preschools in our area, and together with your pedagogical colleague, you will meet school classes and visitors in church educational work at Gamla Uppsala Church. The position also includes parish-wide activities, such as confirmation work.

We are looking for someone who:

• is an educated congregational educator or has similar pedagogical training.
• is familiar with the faith and life of the Church of Sweden and wants to convey it so that more people grow in faith.
• is a team player who, together with employees and volunteers, wants to create conditions for people from different generations to meet in the congregation.

We would also like you to have musical competence.

Information about the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment. A probationary period may apply. Start date in August or by agreement.
