At Frösunda Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a Summer Support Worker at Tärnans group home in Tärnsjö. Would you like to be part of our team this summer? Then you are warmly welcome to submit your application!

As a support worker, you will assist, motivate, and stimulate the individual's own ability to perform daily life activities. You work to provide each customer with individually tailored support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their everyday life.

The group home accommodation is granted for individuals with various types of disabilities, which is why the individuals' skills, needs, and development guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.

Examples of job tasks:

• Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds

• Documentation and reporting

• Excursions, walks, training, and activities

• Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, social presence

• Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily life

Working hours are arranged according to the customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends. The operation has sleeping on-call duty.

At Tärnans group home within LSS, 4 customers reside. The operation is located in Tärnsjö, with bus connections from Heby and Uppsala via Östervåla. We have a car used for excursions and shopping.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• We prefer that you have education or ongoing education in health and care.
• Previous experience working with LSS and care experience is highly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good physical ability.
• A driving license (B) is a requirement.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
