Stenhamreskolan 7-9 is a middle school located in central Ljusdal.

The school has approximately 250 students in 4 parallel classes in grades 7, 8, and 9. We are now looking for one or two special education teachers who are passionate about working with young people, especially those who struggle with school subjects. You may specialize in language or mathematics. We seek someone who enjoys working closely with students on an individual level as well as in groups or classes and who can easily communicate with young people, guardians, and colleagues.

As a special education teacher, you will be part of one of our four teams alongside teachers, mentors, and student counselors. You will also collaborate closely with the school's health team, which consists of the principal, vice principal, special educator, social educator, school counselor, school nurse, and career counselor.

Responsibilities

As a special education teacher with us, you will plan and conduct teaching based on the individual needs of the students. Collaborate with other staff to ensure the best possible support for the students. Communicate with guardians regarding progress and setbacks, as well as evaluate and follow up on students' development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is an educated teacher and special education teacher. You have previous experience as a special education teacher where you have taught students, conducted pedagogical assessments, and formulated action plans.
