Humlans Preschool was completely renovated in 2023 and received a brand new outdoor environment in 2025.

The preschool consists of five departments for children aged 1-5 years. It is located 12 km south of Hudiksvall in central Iggesund. Job Responsibilities

As the responsible preschool teacher, you will:

• Cooperate with another preschool teacher to plan, follow up, and evaluate the educational activities according to the preschool's curriculum.
• Implement educational activities for children aged 1-5 years together with the team.
• Work with pedagogical documentation and reflection.

With us, you have the opportunity to develop and grow in your role as a preschool teacher. We also offer trained mentors for newly graduated preschool teachers. We are one of Sweden's first municipalities to offer preschool teachers the chance to become lead teachers.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher and place great emphasis on personal suitability. We seek someone who is engaged, structured, attentive, and accommodating in their interactions. You possess good collaboration skills and are responsive; you communicate well and can handle conflicts constructively. It is important that you are independent, responsible, positive, and that you provide children, guardians, and staff with a professional approach.

Before an offer of employment, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record must be presented.

About the Department

We teach children to read, count, and discover the world around them. We follow our youngest community members from preschool until they graduate from high school. Through our adult education, one can learn Swedish as a second language, take individual courses, or pursue a longer education. With joy, commitment, participation, and a scientific basis, we aim to increase knowledge, creativity, development, and the desire to learn.
