We are looking for a qualified music teacher for Hölöskolan, grades 3-9. The assignment involves being responsible for planning lessons, evaluating learning and results, as well as planning for continued learning. You are also responsible for creating safety and study peace in order to establish an accessible learning environment where all students can be given the best possible conditions to succeed in their learning. At Hölöskolan, development and learning for both large and small are fundamental, and it is important that you as a teacher continuously reflect on and analyze your teaching based on your results. In our collegial work at the school, conducted by our lead teachers, all teachers are offered the opportunity to develop their pedagogical competence in various ways. The position is 20%, but if you are qualified in other subjects that we need this school year or in the coming years, the position can increase to 100%.

Your responsibilities

You will teach physical education based on Lgr 22. You are responsible for both rough and detailed planning of your teaching. Through your secure and clear leadership, you conduct lessons that you adapt based on your students. Your teaching is followed up through formative feedback, and you plan your lessons based on the class's needs. You assess students' knowledge based on the criteria in Lgr 22 and maintain an open dialogue with management and student health regarding students in need of extra support. You also have close and good contact with guardians. Collaboration with work teams and subject groups is part of your assignment. Contributing curiously, positively, and engagingly to increased learning for our students through active participation in meetings, conferences, and various gatherings is also part of your role.

Requirements:
- You are a licensed music teacher to teach music.
- You have the qualifications to teach.

- You are qualified to teach at other levels and/or have experience teaching at different levels.
- You have experience leading various types of groups.
- Knowledge in psychology and/or NPF.

At Hölöskolan, we conduct systematic quality work focusing on accessible learning environments, attendance, and operationally close student health. To develop teaching and thus learning at the school, our lead teachers conduct collegial work in the area. Time is therefore allocated for both reading current research as well as reflection and analysis of one's own teaching, as we believe this is of great importance.
Hölöskolan is a municipal school beautifully located in a very quiet and rural area in Södertälje municipality. We are a two-parallel F-9 school, and about 55 people work with our 420 students. There is a municipal library in the school that has just been renovated and is fantastic. The library is open to students in the mornings and to the public in the afternoons. We also have a library pedagogue who has created fantastic podcasts with our students this school year. Adjacent to the school, there are also sports facilities, football fields, outdoor gyms, and exercise tracks. We have a kitchen that prepares good and nutritious food every day. About 80% of the food is locally grown or organic. At Hölöskolan, we work to ensure that all students, regardless of background or circumstances, achieve the goals in all subjects through an accessible learning environment characterized by a salutogenic approach where the clarity of the joint work creates security, which in turn creates well-being.

The position we are looking for is 80%, but it can increase if you have qualifications in subjects that we need at the school.
