The Public Transport Authority in Västerbotten is facing one of its most important challenges: securing future competencies within public transport. We are now looking for a project manager who wants to drive development forward, influence at a strategic level, and create long-term solutions for the industry's competence supply.

This is a completely new role with a significant mandate to influence! You will work with everything from strategic analysis and environmental monitoring to concrete initiatives for recruitment and training. Through collaboration with industry stakeholders, educational institutions, and authorities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable and attractive public transport system.

Your main responsibilities:

Environmental monitoring – identify successful models for competence supply Map the industry's competence needs and develop recruitment strategies Drive collaboration between industry stakeholders, educational institutions, and authorities Organize workshops, networking meetings, and study visits Develop a long-term action plan and a new collaboration structure

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in project management and the ability to drive projects from start to finish Experience in competence supply, recruitment, or labor market issues Strong communication skills and ease in building relationships Ability to work strategically and analytically, as well as transform insights into concrete solutions

With initiative and independence, you take responsibility and drive projects forward. You are structured, organized, and thrive in complex environments. You navigate smoothly in digital environments and adapt quickly to new tools.

Meritorious:

A good understanding of the challenges and needs of the public transport industry Knowledge of the education system and its connection to the labor market Experience with EU-funded projects
