We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented area controller for the Department of Disability, within the area of disability. Here is an opportunity for you who want to work in an organization with a socially important mission.

Analysis, Strategic Management Support, and Development Work

In your role as an area controller within Försäkringskassan, you are responsible for ensuring that the area manager has access to the support required to lead and manage the operations. The controller role also includes managing both operations and finances. This means you are responsible for, among other things, the analysis and interpretation of operational results and financial outcomes within your area of responsibility.

You provide central strategic support for the area. At Försäkringskassan, we actively work with continuous improvements. You participate in or lead relevant forums and networks both within the department and at the agency. Your work also includes preparing materials for follow-up, and you contribute to the development work within the area. You are also part of the area's management team. As an employee at Försäkringskassan, you have a high awareness of security since the agency deals with confidential information.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree in economics or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has specialized knowledge and expertise in finance and operational management
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results

• has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a systematic and meticulous working method.

It is advantageous if you

• have experience working as a controller at Försäkringskassan or within a larger agency
• have experience using statistical software in previous work
• have experience working with and analyzing data sets
• have experience leading groups in projects/teams

This is a permanent, full-time position, with a start date to be agreed upon. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process.
