Experienced Controller Wanted for Manufacturing Industry

On behalf of our client, AxÖ Consulting is currently seeking an experienced controller with a background in the manufacturing industry.

In this role, you have the opportunity to work remotely, but are expected to be on-site a few times a month.

About the Role

As a controller, you will be part of the company's management team and work closely with operations to analyze financial results and identify improvement opportunities. By being a strategic business partner, you help shape and develop the business to ensure long-term profitability and efficiency.

To succeed in this position, your previous experience in the manufacturing industry enables you to understand flows, identify opportunities, and drive change that makes a real difference. With your analytical mindset and business acumen, you create insights that are crucial for strategic decisions.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure that the figures reflect reality.
• Develop key performance indicators and financial models that drive profitability.
• Ensure accurate reporting.
• Future-proof the business through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Drive improvements in standard costs, accounting, and internal control.
• Be responsible for inventory and depreciation valuation for a stable financial foundation.
• Support the organization with financial expertise and translate action plans into practice.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in finance, economics, or controlling.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing and/or process industry.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Business Intelligence systems.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience working in teams.
• High initiative and independence.
