Your tasks

Your task as a leisure teacher is to offer a meaningful leisure time where you start from the students' needs, interests, and initiatives but also inspire new discoveries. Together with your colleagues, you offer students a variety of working methods, forms of expression, and learning environments where care and learning are integrated. You collaborate with educators in preschool and school to contribute to students' goal fulfillment. Contact and cooperation with guardians is an important part of the work.

About you

We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to creating a safe and inspiring learning environment. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents, have the ability to vary teaching and activities based on students' needs. You are a secure adult and a good role model who can connect with students, see each individual, and create a good learning environment. You motivate students by allowing them to be involved and come up with their own suggestions.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Certified teacher/applied for teacher certification with authorization to teach in leisure homes
• Valid extract from the criminal record
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience working with children
• Experience working in leisure homes
