We are looking for multiple language instructors for our spring 2025 open course offerings
We are looking for candidates who:
• Are native speakers and/or have formal education in English, Spanish, Korean, Arabic, Japanese, or other languages.
• Have a solid understanding of pedagogy and teaching experience.
• Have experience and a strong interest in adult education.
• Are flexible, organized, positive, and motivating.
• Are available to work evenings and/or weekends.
As an instructor at Folkuniversitetet, you are expected to tailor your teaching to individual needs and help each participant reach their potential. It is important that you enjoy sharing knowledge and appreciate seeing course participants develop. You are flexible, attentive, and structured, and are used to working independently. We also expect you to share our view on the equal value of all people and the right to knowledge. Folkuniversitetet actively works on professional development for its teachers.
