Job Responsibilities

As a special education teacher, you are responsible for planning and implementing teaching according to Lgr 22 and our prioritized goals at the school.

Teaching occurs both in classrooms, in smaller groups, and individually with students. You collaborate closely with your teaching colleagues, as well as other special teachers/pedagogues.

Your job responsibilities, in addition to teaching, include:

• working proactively and preventively, as well as supporting the development of pedagogical work to meet students' diverse needs
• assisting in coordinating teaching and analyzing students' knowledge progression
• following up and evaluating implemented measures, as well as jointly following up on interventions at the organizational, group, and individual levels
• conducting pedagogical investigations regarding the need for special support
• being part of the student health team's preventive and promotional work, and taking joint responsibility for our students' learning and development
• working and documenting in the operational systems available
• planning and conducting guidance at group and individual levels for educators

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed special education teacher with the authority to teach core subjects for primary school. You are confident, clear, and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning as well as your teaching structure in an effective way that leads to desired results.

To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to possess good IT skills and be able to engage with digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in such a way that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as document what the operation requires in writing. Previous experience as a special education teacher is an asset. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Scope

This is a permanent position at 100%, starting on 2025-01-07 or by agreement if necessary decisions are made. A probationary period will apply.
