We are the small, forest-adjacent preschool with an outdoor focus that is now looking for a qualified preschool teacher. Knallhatten is a parent cooperative run by dedicated staff and parents in close collaboration. The preschool is certified by Friluftsfrämjandet as an I Ur och Skur preschool. We are looking for a positive and committed preschool teacher who, together with staff, parents, and children, wants to further develop the educational activities.

About Knallhatten

Knallhatten is located in the Solliden area, right by the edge of the forest and with the entire ÖSK area around the corner. Currently, our team consists of a principal, five educators, and a cook. The preschool has 27 children, divided into two departments.

A common thread in our operations is that large parts of the educational activities take place outdoors. It is important for us to create a calm and inspiring environment that provides conditions for safety, development, and learning. We also emphasize laying the foundation for sustainable lifestyle habits in children, both in terms of diet and movement, with consideration for the environment and nature. Cross-country skiing and forest excursions are recurring elements in our activities.

About You

In the role of preschool teacher, you will be responsible for the educational work in one of the preschool's departments, which means you will plan, follow up, and evaluate the teaching. Important parts of your assignment include working with methods to promote children's language development and documenting and evaluating children's learning processes. Your work also includes continuously planning and evaluating the goals of the activities. We would like you to have a strong interest in driving systematic quality work.

We are looking for someone who has a desire to develop together with the team. We appreciate a person who sees opportunities, is structured, takes responsibility, and supports their colleagues. You have a good ability to understand each child's needs and to challenge them in their development. Since large parts of the activities take place outdoors, you enjoy being outside and have an interest in outdoor education.

We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate, reflect, and collaborate. A strong commitment and a positive attitude are important.

Qualifications

• Qualified preschool teacher with preschool teacher certification
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Well-versed in the goals of the curriculum
• Knowledge of systematic quality work
• Experience working in a preschool is an advantage
• Previous experience with I Ur och Skur pedagogy is an advantage
• Good knowledge of pedagogical documentation is an advantage

The Position

• Employment type: Permanent position, 50-100% as agreed
• Start date: August 2025 or as agreed
• Probationary employment applies
