We are now looking for an engaged and responsible social worker who wants to work in Economic Assistance/Integration during the summer (temporary position June-August 2025). Do you want to be a part of us?

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your tasks will include investigating and deciding on economic assistance within the framework of legislation and delegated decision-making authority. The work also includes working towards individual self-sufficiency based on individual planning, which includes continuously following up on granted interventions and working with motivational change efforts.

You will work closely with colleagues in the unit, but also with colleagues from other units within the administration.

We are a relatively small IFO, Individual and Family Care, in Borgholm, where helping each other is a prerequisite, creating a positive and strong community. For individuals receiving interventions, this is also of great importance as our focus is on working family-oriented, with the entire individual's/family's needs in focus, which requires good collaboration within the entire Social Administration and the Municipality at large.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or studying to become a social worker, or alternatively, another university education that the employer deems equivalent. You have good Swedish skills in both speech and writing and good computer skills. Experience with the operational system Lifecare is an advantage.

It is important that you have a professional demeanor as the work involves meetings with people who are in great need of support. You are clear, action-oriented, responsible, and have a good ability to work structured and independently. You are an empathetic and secure person with a solution-focused attitude and good collaboration skills. We believe that you are curious and creative in your work and that you have the ability to sort and prioritize what needs to be done both in the short and long term. You have high social competence and are a relationship builder.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We would like you to have experience in the profession. Being multilingual is a plus.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
