We are currently looking for someone who wants to be a part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for one of our younger clients in Hultsfred.

Our young client is a 4-year-old boy who lives in Hultsfred with his parents and younger sibling.

On weekdays, he is at preschool, but he needs personal assistance by his side. He has had cerebral palsy and a brain injury since birth, which manifests as reduced motor skills, coordination, muscle strength, vision, and communication.

As a personal assistant, your main tasks will be to assist him with all transfers, personal hygiene, during meal situations, and to provide support in play and other leisure activities.

Who are we looking for?

Currently, we are looking for a personal assistant who is available for some afternoon shifts during the week and a few weekends a month. However, during the summer, there is an opportunity to work more extensively.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to be:

- non-smoker
- tolerant of pets as there is a cat in the home
- speak clear Swedish, understand Swedish very well, and handle the Swedish language in writing.
- in good physical shape as manual transfers and lifting are involved.
- have experience in care and/or support (a plus, but not a requirement)

Additional information

• Employment type: On-demand employment and summer substitute
• Scope: varying during the spring
• Working hours: weekday afternoons (approx. 15:00-20:00) and daytime on weekends.
• Start date: immediately or as agreed.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
