Patia emergency and foster homes are looking for a foster care consultant. We are looking for a person with a degree in social work or equivalent experience as a foster care consultant or foster care secretary. The office is located in Oskarshamn.

Your responsibilities: As a foster care consultant, you will be responsible for a number of foster homes. Your task is to assist the foster homes with guidance and support during the periods they have a placement. You work on behalf of the social services and have close collaboration with the responsible social worker.

As a foster care consultant, you will work with: - Recruitment and investigation of foster homes - Training foster homes - Support and guidance to foster homes - Documentation and reporting - Placement inquiries and matching - Customer contacts and marketing

The work involves travel (both short and longer trips weekly) as our foster homes are located throughout Sweden. The position also includes on-call duty according to a rotating schedule.

We are looking for someone who:

- is a social worker or equivalent - has experience in foster care (preferably as a foster care consultant) - has good knowledge of the Social Services Act and BBIC - has training in the investigation process - has training/experience in guiding foster homes individually and in groups - has a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish as this is required in the investigation process and reporting. - has good computer skills - has a B driver's license

It is important that you have good collaboration skills, both internally and externally. An established network with foster homes is a strong merit.
