Sakofall is a producing real estate company with the goal of increasing mobility in the housing market in small and medium-sized towns. Our homes are built in a classic style with attention to detail and always in attractive environments close to nature, amenities, and services. Our business idea is based on three main areas: project development, production, and management.
Our areas of operation are driven by a unique data- and experience-based strategy and optimized through full control over the entire process – from idea to completion. This enables us to develop safe, beautiful, and functional housing and commercial premises in locations with high demand. Our concept also guarantees long-term sustainability, high efficiency, and scalability throughout the value chain.
Sakofall, rooted in Dalarna, was founded by Tom Sakofall in 2014 and has since grown into a strong team of 11 employees. In 2024, we had a turnover of 100 million SEK and with a clear growth strategy, we aim to double our turnover in 2025.

About the Position:
As a business developer at Sakofall, you will identify and develop future residential projects through networking, market analysis, and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for ensuring the expansion of the project portfolio, from finding building rights to creating conditions for long-term growth and profitable projects. Your responsibilities will thus cover everything from idea to handover to project management and marketing.
Identify and secure new building rights
- Search and analyze land areas with potential for residential development through contacts with municipalities and property owners.
- Build relationships with brokers, developers, and decision-makers to find business opportunities.
- Conduct market analyses to ensure the economic and strategic sustainability of the projects.
Development and conceptualization of projects
- Collaborate with architects to develop sketch drawings and concepts.
- Ensure technical and legal conditions, e.g., detailed plans and utility connections.
- Lead detailed planning processes and coordinate with municipal officials and consultants.
- Perform financial calculations and business analyses to assess project feasibility.
- Ensure agreements and arrangements for land acquisition and project initiation.
Handover to project management and marketing
- Ensure a smooth handover of the project to the project manager at the start of construction.
- Involve the marketing department early to support sales and rentals.
- Document and compile all relevant information for an effective transition.
You will report to the business area manager for project development who supports and coordinates the project development team.
Who are you:
We are looking for someone with experience in real estate/residential development, land acquisition, or business development within the construction and real estate industry.
You have experience with financial calculations and investment assessments in real estate development as well as a basic understanding of planning processes, building permits, and infrastructural requirements.
As a person, you are meticulous, analytical, and proactive; you see business opportunities and can drive them from idea to implementation.
You possess strong networking and negotiation skills to create long-term relationships with landowners and partners.
