AVESTA HEALTH CENTER

Avesta Health Center has been in operation since 2012 and currently has nearly 8000 registered patients. We have approximately 35 employees including general practitioners, resident doctors, interns, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, midwives, child health care nurses, district nurses with various specialties, advisory nurses, medical secretaries, therapists, and nursing assistants, as well as our own lab.

We are a privately owned health center that has a care choice agreement with Region Dalarna, so for individual patients, the same conditions, care guarantees, and fees apply as in a publicly operated health center. Avesta Health Center is independent from large healthcare companies and operates solely in Avesta but has many registered patients from surrounding municipalities in both southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland.

Our facilities were expanded and renovated in 2021 and are well adapted for our operations. We share the property with Avesta Health Care.

MEDICAL SECRETARY

As a medical secretary with us, you are an important part of the operation!

We offer varied tasks and a wonderful work community.

In addition to documentation and diagnosis setting, tasks also include handling referrals and mail, reception work, system administration in various systems and digital platforms, as well as other tasks based on the needs of the operation. We work in the TakeCare journal system but will transition to Cosmic this autumn along with the rest of Region Dalarna.

At Avesta Health Center, we constantly work to improve and develop our operations, both physically and digitally. We work together and strive for high quality and continuity. Competence development is planned based on your and the operation's needs.

Qualifications

Requirements

Medical secretary, preferably with several years of professional experience.

Desirable

Experience working in primary care.

Experience working in Cosmic.

Personal qualities

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You should have good ability and experience in collaborating both internally and externally. You are responsible and interested in participating in the development work of the reception. You should be interested in and comfortable working in digital environments.
