Financial Accountant sought for exciting company in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join an exciting company in Gothenburg. This is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately and lasting for 6 months.

About the position

Responsibilities for the following tasks within the legal entity:

• Weekly and monthly sales status reporting for the unit.
• Monthly reporting of income statement and balance sheet (including related notes) in OneStream.
• Monthly analytical review of financial results.
• Financial planning and analysis.
• IFRS reporting of leasing.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet.
• Reconciliation and re-invoicing of intercompany transactions.
• Management of local statutory reporting requirements and audits.
• All local reporting obligations, including: VAT, social security contributions, EU sales reports, Intrastat, statistical reports.
• Operational control over accounting.
• Other ad hoc tasks as needed.

You will have an accounting economist reporting to you. You will be based in the Gothenburg office with the possibility of remote work 2 days a week.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with high accuracy and attention to detail. You have the ability to work flexibly to meet strict monthly and year-end closing deadlines. You have a practical approach and a sense of responsibility, as only a few tasks can be delegated, and you have the ability to build good working relationships within the group. Additionally, you meet the following requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (strongly qualified part-qualified accountants may also be considered).
• Good knowledge of Excel (e.g., lookups, pivot tables).
• SWE GAAP.

Having IFRS knowledge is considered an advantage.
