The Social Services in Järfälla municipality is responsible for elderly care and disability services, individual and family care, as well as health and care. The department for elderly care and disability consists of seven different parts, of which the Authority for elderly and the Authority for disability are responsible for authority exercise. The Authority for disability consists of three units: the Assistance Unit LSS adult and assistance, the Assistance Unit LSS children and youth, and the Assistance Unit SOL. In addition to caseworkers, we also have an area manager, three unit managers, three placement coordinators, two caseworkers for housing adaptation grants, and three group leaders.

The Assistance Unit SoL consists of three caseworkers who work at our reception with completely new cases, five caseworkers who work with case management in social psychiatry, and three caseworkers who work with case management in somatic disabilities, along with a group leader providing close operational support. We are looking for a colleague interested in working as a Case Officer within disability services SoL for users aged 18-64.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a case officer at the Assistance Unit SoL is important, inspiring, and developing. Together with your colleagues, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions about interventions according to SoL and the National Transport Services Act.

Your work will involve collaborating with the individual, their relatives, colleagues, providers, and other professionals both internally and externally. You will have good opportunities to influence and contribute to the ongoing development work in the organization in various ways. You work closely with your colleagues and have good access to management and administrative and legal support.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree in social work or a similar higher education. Since the unit works with IBIC as an investigation method in the Lifecare case management system and Lifecare SP for discharging cases from the hospital, it is an advantage if you have experience working with it. Experience in authority exercise under the Social Services Act is also an advantage. If you also have professional experience with persons with disabilities, that is also a merit.

The role of a case officer requires that you are structured, flexible, self-driven, and act in accordance with applicable legislation. You have good collaborative skills, personal maturity, and an ability to create good professional relationships with others. You find it easy to communicate in speech and writing and have knowledge of case management and documentation regulations according to the National Board of Health and Welfare. You are motivated to be involved in developing and improving our operations.
