About the Role and Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for a qualified certified primary school teacher for grades 4-6 with the authority to teach all social studies subjects, Swedish/Swedish as a second language, and English, who wants to make a difference in students' learning at Vikingaskolan.

Together with your colleagues, you will work to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for the students. Your main responsibilities will be to plan, execute, and follow up on teaching, assess students' knowledge, and act as a mentor while being part of a team within grades 4-6. In collaboration with your colleagues, you will share experiences to create collegial learning that contributes to development at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

You are flexible and accustomed to independently planning your work. Furthermore, we see that you are solution-oriented, positive, and have a good ability to see the big picture. Your approach is inclusive, and you work to ensure that all students have good opportunities to achieve the goals of the curriculum. You are familiar with the governing documents and can explain the goals to the students.

Good collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships with a positive attitude and flexibility are highly valued.

The position will be filled on the condition that it is not needed by an already permanently employed staff member.
