The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration includes 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Kärraskolan is a school for everyone - where joy and knowledge are at the center. The school is a F-9 school located in central Kärra. We have about 820 students aged 6-16 years and about 100 employees. Our goal is for Kärraskolan to be a school where students, staff, and parents thrive and share a common responsibility for creating good conditions for learning.

We are now looking for a teacher who is qualified in Swedish, English, mathematics & another subject for grade 5.

As a teacher with us, you will be part of a community where we together create a safe, stable, and pleasant school environment for the best opportunities for learning, where our students will experience meaningful contexts and develop good relationships, feel joy, and participation. All staff at the school are involved in the students' development, and our ultimate goal is to provide high-quality teaching that gives students knowledge, security, and a stable platform for the continuation of life.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher and qualified in Swedish, English, mathematics & another subject for grades 4-6.

As a person, you are flexible, creative, structured, and enjoy challenges. You have the ability to create good relationships and a positive attitude towards children, parents, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have a burning interest in creating the best possible teaching for our students by creating good learning environments and adapting the teaching.

You inspire and engage students and meet them based on their individual circumstances. Of course, you have a positive attitude and enjoy collaborating to ensure equitable education for our students.
