Production-oriented team

As a claims officer, you are an employee of the state with an important mission: to investigate so that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. Housing supplement can be applied for by those who have been granted sickness or activity compensation. You process and make decisions about the size of the housing supplement and whether it should be paid out for a limited time or indefinitely. You investigate and make financial calculations regarding housing costs, income, capital income, and assets, and are responsible for the administration of payments. Contact with the insured takes place both by phone and in writing. Here, it is important that you show engagement, inform, and provide feedback. You will be in contact and collaborate with, among others, the Tax Agency, Social Services, and property companies. As a claims officer, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness to work with us.

• has a high school diploma or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
• is service-oriented
• has a systematic and meticulous work approach
• is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
• has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a good ability to use the computer as a working tool.

It is an advantage if you have

• are results-oriented and used to working towards set goals
• have experience working in a production-oriented team
• have experience in customer service, retail, or telephony in a fast-paced environment.

Other

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Interviews will take place in weeks 18-19. Work location: Skellefteå.
