Your workplace is in the finance unit, which is organizationally part of the Municipal Executive Office.

You report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Your other colleagues in the finance unit include two other economists and two finance assistants. The foundation of our working method is characterized by the municipality's core values: positivity, professionalism, commitment, and respect.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

The main tasks involve accounting, financial monitoring, forecasting, year-end closing, preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements, and statistics. You will also support the operations in financial matters.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and quick-witted. You are proactive with a strong inner drive and are operational, "hands-on" in your work process. Because you are flexible and stress-resistant, you can handle rapid changes that affect daily work. You are also meticulous, service-oriented, and have a pedagogical way of explaining, as well as good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

REQUIREMENTS

You have at least a three-year degree in economics at the university level or equivalent education. You should have very good IT skills and experience working with the Office suite, particularly Excel. It is an advantage if you have experience with the tasks included in this position. It is also advantageous if you have experience working in the financial system Unit4. You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have experience working in a politically governed organization.
