The Child and Adolescent Center (BUC) Västerbotten is a regional clinic with approximately 400 employees responsible for specialized care in the region for children and adolescents aged 0-18 years. We operate in Umeå, Skellefteå, and Lycksele.

BUC is now looking for a medical secretary or healthcare administrator to join our secretarial team at Norrlands University Hospital (NUS) in Umeå. The team is located in newly renovated and bright premises close to what will soon be our newly renovated children's outpatient clinic. With us, you will work with varied tasks and also have the opportunity for further education and personal development.
The workgroup you will be part of consists of 14 medical secretaries of various ages who together have extensive experience and will introduce you to the operations in a safe and competent manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the secretarial team, you will perform a varied job where documentation in NCS Cross and, in the future, in our new journal system Cosmic is a shared task for all secretaries. The work offers stimulating and varied tasks, where you will also work with patient administration, referrals, journals, and 1177. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other professional groups in our specialist teams, where the chance to work specifically with a patient group leads to good knowledge, e.g., regarding terminology, methods, collaboration with other agencies, and registers, as well as a concrete feeling of being part of the development in the field.
Depending on your competence profile and interests, other assignments may also be assigned that allow for continued development of our operations and your personal growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary or healthcare administrator, or who is soon to complete one of the programs. The work requires good knowledge of medical terminology and good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Experience with the journal systems NCS Cross or Cosmic and Office365 is an advantage, and prior experience in healthcare is preferred. We would like you to be service-oriented, attentive, and capable of planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively.

If you have a good attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and a high level of service awareness, you might be the one we are looking for.
