About the Business Area Building Sweden

NCC Building Sweden builds and renovates housing, offices, healthcare buildings, schools, sports facilities, and public buildings for public and private clients in Sweden. With high competence in sustainability, digitalization, and partnering, NCC Building Sweden develops projects together with clients in early stages. The business area is divided into ten departments.

The Role of Division Controller

In the role of Division Controller, you will be responsible for leading the department's financial management – from budgeting and forecasting to analysis and reporting. You will work closely with both management and production to ensure that the department's financial goals are met and exceeded. Your work directly contributes to NCC's long-term vision of creating value for our customers and society.

As part of the management team, you are also expected to be an active force in developing the department's financial understanding and contribute with your expertise. Learning and development are central to us, and we therefore offer regular financial training and access to an internal knowledge bank.

Your Profile as Division Controller:

• You have a solid background in finance, preferably with experience in construction or project-based industries.
• You are analytical and a confident requirement setter in financial matters.
• You have a strong drive to create value, build relationships, and work closely with operations.
• You are skilled at creating structure, managing data, and acting as a strategic support for management and production teams.
• You have good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably experience with Power BI.
• You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.
• You hold a valid driver's license (B).

Additional Information

The position is a full-time and permanent employment. It is best if you are located at our office in Umeå, where most colleagues are present, but for the right person, we are open to discussing placement at any of our other offices in Skellefteå, Luleå, Örnsköldsvik, or Sundsvall. The role includes some travel within the department's geographical area. Start date is negotiable. A background check will be conducted in accordance with our security culture. A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.
