Mathildenborg's short-term accommodation and respite care is one of Malmö's largest short-term accommodations. Here, Malmö residents are cared for to enable optimal mobilization. Our care places are specifically focused on both rehabilitation and recovery. In addition to our short-term departments, we also have two departments where patients with cognitive impairment or dementia receive rehabilitation and can recover based on their specific needs. Nowadays, respite care also belongs to us at short-term.

Job Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist, you create good conditions for individuals to live as independently and meaningfully as possible. This includes establishing and implementing individual rehabilitation plans with ADL assessments, cognitive assessments, functional assessments, and training measures. As an occupational therapist, you will also prescribe medical technical products, manage and delegate orthopedic technical products, and participate in care planning.
You will be part of a team and collaborate with physiotherapists, nurses, and other care staff. You will guide the team through a rehabilitative approach.
Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Flexible hours are included.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in rehabilitation and municipal operations. The work requires that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have experience using various IT tools.
As a person, you are positive, engaged, and open to new challenges. You have a good sense of service and are attentive to the individual needs of patients. You are thorough and structured in your work approach, with the ability to quickly adapt when circumstances change. You work well independently, where you can take your own initiatives, and have good communication skills that allow you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
