We are a stable and well-functioning unit with 10,200 listed inhabitants, operating in an area with a unique combination of multicultural urban life and Skåne countryside. At the medical clinic, there are six specialists in general medicine and training doctors (four ST, two AT, and one BT). Would you like to be the doctor who complements our team? We are a multifaceted operation with clinics for district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and occupational therapists. There are specialized nurse-based clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and targeted health conversations. There is also a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, elderly care clinic, lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone counseling and primary care triage, the initial care is smoothly handled by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. In the waiting room, there is an interpreter and a service host.

Competence development is important to us, and we are happy to try new working methods. The operation develops dynamically in a good collaboration between employees and managers. Collegial dialogue is highly prioritized with regular doctor meetings. Supervision and educational issues are close to our hearts, and we have undergone a SPUR inspection with the best results. Other in-depth assignments such as participation in knowledge management and regional assignments occur to a high extent. Are you the one who will make our team complete?

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role as a specialist doctor in general medicine includes, among other things:

• Assessment and treatment of patients of all ages with all kinds of health problems that do not require resources within specialized healthcare.
• Teamwork in rehabilitation issues and chronic medical conditions.
• A limited list responsibility with the opportunity to follow your patients over time (1100 individuals per full-time position). We also list individuals on ST doctors and gradually increase the list.
• Supervision of training doctors and medical students.

During some shifts, you will have a role as a question doctor where you instruct and guide other employees. In the weeks you do not have planned continuing education activities outside the health center, you can allocate 5% of your working time as development time where you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in various areas or participate in FQ group/Balint group.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you must be a licensed physician with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare and have specialist training in general medicine. Furthermore, you have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have supervisor training and/or experience in supervising ST and AT doctors. We also prefer that you have generalist competence along with relational competence.
