The Adult Psychiatry Unit in Helsingborg is a university healthcare unit characterized by diversity and high competence. We actively work to integrate research into everyday practice at outpatient clinics and wards within psychiatry. The unit has a solid connection to Lund University and other educational institutions in the region.
The Adult Psychiatry Unit in Helsingborg has clinics and teams located in Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. All inpatient care is provided in Helsingborg, and we have a total of 470 employees. We are in a development phase with a strong focus on providing good and accessible care for our patients and a pleasant work environment for our staff. Adult psychiatry in Helsingborg collaborates with the ten municipalities in northwestern Skåne to best enable our citizens to achieve better health and improved quality of life.
The government’s comorbidity investigation proposes a comprehensive reform of society’s interventions for individuals with comorbidity. The investigation identifies several developmental needs concerning the target group of individuals with severe dependence or comorbidity. We now welcome a process leader tasked with leading the preparatory work within psychiatry in northwestern Skåne, in preparation for implementing the proposals in the comorbidity investigation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a process leader, your primary responsibility is to prepare the northwest sub-region and drive the development of our operations in line with the identified needs and any legislative changes arising from the Comorbidity Investigation.
Your main tasks include ensuring and developing coordinated, needs-based, and person-centered interventions for individuals with complex needs, particularly within comorbidity, but also within inpatient care and involuntary care. You will also monitor the work of the comorbidity delegation and help drive changes within LARO concerning comorbidity issues. It is important that you consider both user and family perspectives in the processes.
In this role, you will work on behalf of the steering group for Local Consultation Psychiatry Northwest, focusing on psychiatry/dependence and the ten municipalities in northwestern Skåne. As a process leader, you are responsible for including all relevant stakeholders and promoting collaboration with all involved care providers. You will lead the working group for the Comorbidity Investigation, where you will receive assistance and support in your role from representatives of psychiatry, dependence care, primary care, user developers/Peer Support, and the municipalities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- a relevant higher education degree in health and medical care, such as a nursing or social work degree
- at least two years of experience working with comorbidity, harmful use, dependence, and mental health issues with children, youth, and/or adults
- experience in leading and driving projects and processes
- experience in change management and coordination
- excellent language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
You need to have good knowledge of both regional and municipal operations, and it is advantageous if you have experience from both types of operations. It is also important that you have knowledge of the Comorbidity Investigation and a good understanding of legislation and regulations related to psychiatry, social services, and addiction care, such as the Social Services Act, the Health and Medical Care Act, and the Act on the Care of Addicts.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you are structured, meticulous, and analytical. You are accustomed to independently driving and planning your work, are proactive, and have a good ability to handle and solve problems that arise along the way. As a person, you enjoy planning, leading meetings, and documenting and communicating decisions and actions. It is also important that you have good collaboration skills, build trusting relationships, and are receptive to others' knowledge and experiences. It is central to the role that you stay updated on what is happening in the world and actively seek new knowledge and scientific information that you can use in your work. Assistive devices are responsible for managing assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. The department also includes vision, hearing, and deaf services and youth clinics in Skåne.
