Lunnaskolan

Lunnaskolan is a F-3 school in Landvetter with after-school care and special education. The students come from the local area, Önneröd, and Tahult. The school consists of three buildings and a playground that invites many different games and activities.

We offer recess activities every morning with the goal of providing students with greater variety in games/activities that promote cooperation, movement, and cohesion. Our latest addition during morning recess is the Toy Bank, which offers play materials for loan. In the bank, students from grade 3 take turns being responsible for the play materials. This gives students increased opportunities for participation, influence, and responsibility.

About 400 students in grades F-3 attend the school. There is a high level of competence among the educators, which provides conditions for good quality. We strive to make the most of children's play and creativity. The school is located in a residential area in Landvetter, with nature right at the doorstep. It is five hundred meters to our own school forest and the Landehof exercise trail, which is frequently used.

As our current special educator will retire towards the summer, we are now offering a permanent full-time position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a special educator at Lunnaskolan F-3, you will be part of the student health team together with principals, special teachers, school counselors, school nurses, and school psychologists. You will work preventively and promote our students to meet the knowledge requirements. You will collaborate with special teachers and the school's teachers to provide our students with what they need to develop as far as possible. As a special educator at Lunnaskolan, you will primarily work with guidance for teachers and work teams, collaborate with teachers and guardians, conduct investigations regarding students in need of special support, and also work directly with students who need support. You will document, maintain contact with guardians, and collaborate closely with other professionals within student health. You will participate in the EHT meetings that the school holds every week.

We are looking for someone who is positive and proactive and can actively contribute to our school development work, a good climate, and collaborative development. You need to have an inclusive approach and meet each student based on their conditions and needs. In your work, you will guide other adults, so you need to be a team player who wants, can, and dares to lead colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a strong commitment and interest in creating the best conditions for students. You are analytical, structured, and goal-oriented. You are communicative and inspiring. You are flexible in your working methods and have an easy time collaborating with both colleagues and school management.

We are looking for someone who has a license as a special educator. Experience is an advantage.

To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented.
