In Hässleholm municipality, the daily operations are divided into habilitative and integrated activities.

We now need to strengthen our team and are therefore looking for a supervisor for the City Hall café within the integrated daily operations.

The City Hall café is a staff cafeteria that provides morning and afternoon coffee breaks, handles dishes, and takes coffee orders for conferences. We keep it clean and create a pleasant atmosphere for our guests. The work involves developing tasks/activities and supporting participants in our operations. The job also includes establishing, documenting, and working based on individual implementation plans. Staff have significant responsibility regarding orders, invoicing, and reporting. The position involves working alone, and heavy lifting may occur.

You will work with participants who have disabilities within the autism spectrum, intellectual disabilities, and more. We are looking for someone interested in working with this target group and who wants to engage in meaningful activities in daily operations. In your role as a supervisor, you will have the opportunity to independently plan and develop the work within daily operations. It is essential that you work with clear pedagogical methods towards our participants and maintain a low-arousal approach.

The job we offer is a permanent position with a 100% employment rate starting by agreement. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday during the day. Hässleholm municipality wants to utilize your full competence and offers you full-time employment. If necessary, we collaborate with nearby operations, which means that work at more than one workplace may occur. You will always have a primary workplace where you spend most of your working hours. Who are you?

You who are applying have experience working with individuals with disabilities within the autism spectrum, intellectual disabilities, and more, as well as preferably documented education in these areas. Furthermore, you have experience working with clear pedagogical methods and/or low-arousal approaches. You should have a nursing assistant education, have studied child and leisure, preferably with a focus on pedagogical and social work, or have other education that the employer deems equivalent.

You have a professional attitude and see the equal value of all people and show empathy. Working motivationally with the individual's needs in focus is important. Since you work closely with the participants, you need to be calm and secure as a person. You work systematically and take responsibility for your tasks. As a supervisor, you also need to be flexible and proactive and have a good ability to collaborate with others to contribute to the development of the operations.

Since documentation regarding participants is part of the job responsibilities, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.

A Class B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is required as transportation is included in the position.

If you have completed a training/course in food handling, we consider it an advantage.

The mission of the Care Administration is to provide care, support, and treatment to elderly people, to people with disabilities, and to those who need home healthcare. The administration has approximately 1,700 permanent employees and has a turnover of over one billion kronor. Daily operations are a statutory right implemented under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). LSS is a qualifying law for individuals with extensive and permanent disabilities such as autism, autism-like conditions, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries in adulthood. The Social Services Act (SoL) covers individuals with other disabilities who are also entitled to daily activities through this law. The mission of daily operations is to offer employment, work training, and sensory stimulation to the target group covered by the above laws, who are of working age, not participating in any education, and not employed.
