What You'll Get to Do:

Your role will be to lead and mentor a diverse engineering team, providing technical guidance and actively participating in key technical discussions, while also contributing to hands-on development as needed. You will have the unique opportunity to shape and develop one of our critical product teams: the Discovery and Assessment team.

Technical Leadership

• You'll collaborate closely with the Product Manager to set and guide the team's technical direction, ensuring alignment with product outcomes.
• You'll work hand-in-hand with senior team members to establish a coherent technical vision and strategy, contributing to an overall engineering strategy that empowers the team to achieve its goals in a fast-paced environment.
• You will, with the team, translate deep technical expertise in cybersecurity into product solutions that yield real business value.

Strategic Leadership

• You'll take ownership of product delivery, ensuring the team consistently meets expectations in quality, security, and overall results.
• You'll also proactively communicate progress and challenges with the broader organization, stepping in to resolve impediments whenever necessary to keep the team on track.
• You will align team goals with the company's objectives, develop and implement long-term strategies for success, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Skills & Requirements:

• You have several years of experience in technical leadership, preferably within a SaaS or a cybersecurity company.
• You have a proven track record of building high-performing teams that have driven product innovation and market growth.
• You love to work in a collaborative environment bringing out the best of everyone.
• You have a background in backend development with solid experience from API development, event-based architectures, and domain-driven design, as well as solid experience from cloud-first environments.
• Experience with pair programming and mob programming will be highly valued.
• You have experience with a range of agile technologies and the ability and experience to experiment with new methodologies and tools in a team.
